WED
WED double worm slew drive
Two worm stages in series: higher ratio, finer positioning and more rigidity where a single stage cannot hold the position.

Structure
What the structure gives you
A second worm stage multiplies the ratio without growing the ring diameter, and it divides the load between two meshes. The result is finer resolution and less wind-up under load.
- Higher ratio in the same envelope
- Finer positioning resolution
- Load shared between two meshes
- Reduced wind-up under torque
- Measured backlash at the output
Typical equipment
Tracking and positioning where resolution dominates: concentrated solar, antenna pointing, precision positioners.
Options you can add
- Servo flange with zero-backlash coupling
- Absolute encoder at the output
- Low-backlash lapping
- IP66 for exposed installations

Outside diameter, bore, mounting holes, gear module and the load case are enough for a quote. If you are replacing an existing ring, the old part number also works.
