Quality
Quality is a document trail, not a slogan
For a part that will be buried inside a machine for a decade, the paperwork matters as much as the steel. Every batch ships with a material certificate, hardening record, dimensional report and torque test, so a claim can be traced to a heat number.
What travels with every shipment
Material
- Mill certificate with heat number
- Chemical composition and mechanical properties
- Traceable to the finished ring
Heat treatment
- Raceway hardness readings
- Hardened depth measurement
- Soft zone location marked
- Gear tooth hardness where applicable
Geometry & running
- Dimensional inspection report
- Axial and radial clearance record
- Running torque measurement
- Gear backlash check
Inspection stages
| Stage | Check | Record |
|---|---|---|
| Incoming material | Composition vs certificate | Heat number logged |
| Turning | Raceway and mounting face dimensions | In-process gauge log |
| Heat treatment | Hardness and hardened depth | Hardness curve per batch |
| Grinding | Raceway profile, runout | CMM / profile report |
| Assembly | Clearance, torque, backlash | Functional test sheet |
| Packing | Seal, plugs, rust prevention | Photo record with the packing list |

Third-party inspection
For projects that need an independent witness, we arrange inspection through SGS, BV or TUV at the factory before packing, and the report ships with the documents. The cost is quoted separately so you can decide per project.
- Pre-shipment inspection on request
- Witnessed load test for assemblies
- Certificates legalised for customs where required
Ask for a sample inspection report
We will send a redacted report for a similar part so you can see exactly what arrives with your shipment.
