About us

A bearing supplier that answers technical questions

SKYF Bearings supplies slewing rings, slew drives, spur gear drives and gear parts to OEMs and distributors. We are small enough that the engineer who reads your drawing is the one who writes the quotation.

What we actually do

We do not stock every size in a warehouse and we do not pretend to. Most of what we ship is made to a drawing: a standard structure adapted to your mounting pattern, or a part rebuilt from a worn sample. That is why the first reply is usually a question about the load case rather than a price.

  • Slewing rings — four-point contact, crossed roller, double row and three-row roller, geared or plain
  • Slew drives — worm-gear units with self-locking output, motor flange to your drawing
  • Spur gear drives — higher torque and output speed for heavy rotation
  • Gear and custom parts — worm pairs, ring gears and reverse-engineered assemblies

How we work

Four commitments we can be held to

Suppliers are easy to find and hard to compare. These are the four things we put in writing on every order, so that a problem later has a reference point.

  • Process assumptions stated in the quotation
  • Drawing approved by you before machining
  • Inspection records per batch, traceable to heat number
  • One contact from enquiry to shipment

Where we ship

Europe, North America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Latin America, mostly by sea freight on FOB or CIF terms. Packing is specified per part: axial rings on timber cradles, drives in crates with the shaft locked, and every carton photographed before the container is closed.

  • Incoterms: EXW, FOB, CIF, DAP
  • Documents: invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, inspection reports
  • Consolidation with other suppliers on request

Start with a question, not an order

Send the drawing or the machine model. If we cannot make it well, we will say so — that is cheaper for both of us than a returned container.
