What is cylindrical roller bearing
The cylindrical roller and the raceway are linear contact bearings. Large load capacity, mainly bear radial load. The friction between the rolling body and the ring edge is small, which is suitable for high speed rotation. According to the ring with or without flange, it can be divided into NU, NJ, NUP, N, NF and other single row cylindrical roller bearings, and NNU, NN and other double row cylindrical roller bearings. The bearing is a structure with separable inner and outer rings.

Characteristics of cylindrical roller bearings
1. Roller and raceway for line contact or repair line contact, radial bearing capacity is large, suitable for bearing heavy load and impact load.
2. Small friction coefficient, suitable for high speed, limit speed close to deep groove ball bearings.
3. Type N and NU can be moved axially, which can adapt to the change of relative position between shaft and shell caused by thermal expansion or installation error, and can be used as free end support.
4. The processing requirements for the shaft or seat hole are high. The relative deviation of the outer ring axis should be strictly controlled after the installation of the bearing to avoid the concentration of contact stress.
5. The inner or outer ring can be separated for easy installation and disassembly.

Notes for the use of cylindrical roller bearings
The use of cylindrical roller bearings should pay attention to the following two aspects:
1 vibration: in ordinary use, vibration is very sensitive to bearing damage, peeling, indentation, rust, crack, wear and so on will be reflected in the bearing vibration measurement. Therefore, the size of vibration can be measured by using a special bearing vibration measuring device (frequency analyzer, etc.), and the specific situation of abnormal can be inferred through the frequency distribution. The measured values are different due to the use conditions of bearings or the installation position of sensors, etc., so it is necessary to analyze and compare the measured values of each machine in advance to determine the judgment standard.
2. Temperature: high temperature often indicates that cylindrical roller bearings have been in abnormal conditions. High temperature is also harmful to the lubricant of bearings. Sometimes bearing overheating can be attributed to the lubricant of the bearing. If the temperature of the bearing exceeds 125℃ for a long time, the life of the bearing will be reduced. The reasons for high temperature bearings include: insufficient lubrication or too much lubrication, impurities in the bearing raceway, excessive limit speed, long-term overload operation of the bearing, etc.
