What is roller bearing

1. Self-aligning roller bearing: Because the outer channel surface is a sphere centered at the center of the bearing, it can self-aligning automatically. It is a centripetal bearing, allowing the tilt of the inner and outer ring axis to be less than 1.5°~2.5°.
2. Thrust self-aligning roller bearing: it belongs to centripetal thrust bearing, but the radial load shall not exceed 55% of the axial load. In order to ensure its normal operation, it is generally necessary to apply a certain axial preload. The allowable deviation of the shaft ring to the axis of the seat ring is less than 1.5°~2.5°.
3. Tapered roller bearing: it belongs to centripetal thrust bearing (30000 type mainly with radial load, 3000B mainly with axial load). The outer ring can be separated and the clearance of the bearing can be installed. Usually used in pairs.
4. Cylindrical roller bearings: belong to centripetal bearings. The outer ring (or inner ring) can be separated, so it cannot bear axial load. Roller by the inner ring (or outer ring) of the baffle axial positioning, allowing the inner and outer ring to have a small amount of axial dislocation. The allowable deflection of inner and outer rings is very small. Such bearings can also be without an inner ring or outer ring.

Selection elements of roller bearing type
When choosing bearings, the main considerations are as follows:
1. Bearing load: the size, direction and nature of the load borne by the bearing are the main factors to choose the bearing.
When selecting the bearing according to the size of the load, compared with the point contact of the ball bearing, the main components in the roller bearing are in line contact, which is easy to be used for bearing load and the deformation after bearing is small. For pure axial load, thrust bearings are generally chosen. Selection of thrust roller bearings for larger axial forces. Choose thrust ball bearings for smaller axial forces. For pure radial load, deep groove ball bearings, cylindrical roller bearings or needle roller bearings are generally used.
2. The speed of the bearing: under normal circumstances, the speed will not have any impact on the selection of the bearing type, but when the speed is large, the speed should be included in the standard of bearing selection. Compared with roller bearings, ball bearings have a higher limit speed, so in the case of high speed, ball bearings are given priority. In the case of the same inner diameter, the smaller the outer diameter is, the smaller the rolling body will be, so the smaller the centrifugal force of the rolling body on the outer ring will be, so it is more suitable for working under the condition of high speed.
3. Bearing aligning performance: when the center line of the shaft does not coincide with the center line of the bearing seat and there is Angle error, or when the shaft is bent or tilted due to the force of the shaft, the axis of the inner and outer ring of the bearing will be deviated. At this time, self-aligning bearings or outer spherical ball bearings with seat should be used
